Hey, I'm Jordin

annnd here is my life story...

Picture this: a 9-year-old girl, athletic and a tomboy, always outside—except when she was glued to the family desktop computer. I spent hours building Neopets guilds (iykyk), built websites for my sports teams, customizing my Sims with embedded Abercrombie outfits, and figuring out how to make their stereos play my playlists (shoutout to LimeWire). I didn’t realize then that normal kids my age weren’t doing this.

oh Hey, hi—it’s me.

By 11, I had my very own computer—and suddenly I was free to tech-nerd out fully. I tore it apart, upgraded the RAM and graphics, learned HTML and CSS for fun, and even started selling Myspace layouts. Every project was a chance to explore, experiment, and make something completely my own.

By high school, I had been using Photoshop for 7+ years, loved interior design, and was still making money with graphic design. I was also obsessed with underground hip hop—spending hours on forums, designing and making collages of my favorite artists that covered my bedroom walls (and later, my dorm at UC). Creativity was everywhere, whether online or IRL.

This world didn't stop in college. I studied Education (teaching felt like the safe path), but I was still glued to my computer—designing/selling on Teachers Pay Teachers, decorating my dorm and bedrooms down to the last detail, and finding any way to create. It was also where I met my now-husband.

After getting engaged, I designed our wedding invitations myself—and accidentally started a business in the process.

In 2016, I officially launched Unica Forma, my wedding stationery business. That’s where I first dove into Showit, learned how to craft experiences through visuals and messaging, and realized how much I loved helping others bring their vision to life.

The business hit six figures in its first year, earned national features, and won industry awards for five years straight.

Somewhere in the mix, I became super obsessed with websites and Showit. I redid my own site a bazillion times (designers, you get it) and realized I was having just as much fun—if not more—creating the online presence as I was the stationery itself.

Then COVID hit. Weddings went on pause.

That “pause” gave me the chance to pivot—leaning fully into branding and web design. What started as an experiment quickly turned into my next chapter: building custom websites that feel just as intentional, personal, and creative as the people behind them.

Why I started my business

I didn’t create Unica Formo just because I love design. I built it to create freedom—for myself and for my clients.

I’m a mom of two small kids, married to the best man on the planet, living with two wild little dogs, and always working on a home DIY project. I wanted a business that let me show up for all of that while still doing work that fuels me creatively.

I want the same for you: a business that feels aligned, sustainable, and supported by a website that’s actually doing its job behind the scenes.

How it feels to work together

Working with me is collaborative, fast-moving, and strategy-first. I partner with clients I’d actually hire, befriend, and root for in real life—and I’m lucky that’s who fills my client list.

As a Showit Design Partner and SEO Approved through The Creative SEO Coach, I bring both strategy and creativity to every project. Whether it’s a one-day intensive or a full custom build, my focus is on clarity, visuals that elevate your brand, and a website that feels like you—ready to grow with what’s next.

• Your website should feel like you.

A Few Things I Believe:

• Strategy matters more than design, but having both makes you unforgettable.

• You don’t need more content—you need the right content.

• Business should support your life, not take over it.

But don't just take it from me

you're in good company here!

"I cannot recommend Jordin enough. The heart and intentionality she pours into her work are unmatched."

Jordin created the most beautiful and cohesive branding for my dance studio and two of our internal programs. We were so ready for a professional refresh! Before working with her, we struggled to balance the professionalism we wanted with the whimsy of being a children’s dance studio. We also had trouble giving each of our programs its own identity while keeping our overall branding cohesive.

As a creative person myself, I often struggle to give up the reins. Trusting someone else with the vision for something so close to my heart felt intimidating. But working with Jordin changed that. She made the process collaborative while still guiding us with her professional eye.

From start to finish, the process was intentional and purposeful. Every step was designed with our goals and vision in mind, and she delivered on every detail. She made adjustments quickly and flawlessly, always excited to tweak something to make it feel more like “us.” Jordin truly nailed it!

I’m so proud to now have branding that is both professional and fun, a perfect representation of who we are and what we do. She was even able to take our existing logos and rework them into elevated versions of themselves, keeping them recognizable but refreshed.

I cannot recommend Jordin enough. The heart and intentionality she pours into her work are unmatched. I want to start another brand just so Jordin can create another beautiful project for me!

"Not only is Jordin an incredible artist with an eye for design, but also highly skilled with the technical aspects of coding and SEO"

When I first learned of Unica Formo, I had been looking into several different website platforms and was overwhelmed with “decision paralysis” around the multitude of options and online templates available. Straight from our Discovery Call, Jordin provided incredibly helpful feedback and a clear roadmap forward.

I originally had so many different ideas and couldn’t imagine a way to include everything that felt important, but Jordin just seemed to “get it” right from the start. She offered so many thoughtful suggestions and helped create a website that feels genuine and unique.

Jordin was a pleasure to work with throughout every step of the design process, from the branding workbook to the final website. She was also incredibly patient with updating and adapting the site as I gained more clarity on the messaging I wanted the site to convey.

The finished product came out beautifully and captured everything I hoped for, and more! Not only is Jordin an incredible artist with an eye for design, but also highly skilled with the technical aspects of coding and SEO. I cannot speak highly enough of Jordin - if you’re on the fence, I highly recommend taking the leap and working with her!
