The Challenge
Designing the Good Gut Nutritionist website was about more than creating a pretty space online—it was about building a welcoming, trustworthy home for people navigating digestive issues. Kerry’s practice helps clients manage bloating, constipation, abdominal pain, and food anxieties, while also empowering them to enjoy the foods they love. Her mission—helping people reclaim their confidence, energy, and quality of life—needed a digital presence that reflected warmth, professionalism, and accessibility.
Her previous website, built on Wix, was functional but lacked the clarity and organization to guide visitors seamlessly to the right resources. Prospective clients needed to quickly understand Kerry’s expertise, explore her services, and request appointments—all while feeling safe and supported. At the same time, the site had to accommodate her growing visibility as a dietitian, showcase client testimonials, and communicate insurance information clearly for an audience that often relies on coverage for care.
The challenge was to create a site that was light, approachable, and organized, with just the right balance of feminine-leaning, neutral tones and pops of fun color. It needed to feel serene yet uplifting—reflecting Kerry’s personality and expertise—while making it effortless for clients to take the next step toward rebuilding their gut health and reclaiming their lives.

The Approach
For Good Gut Nutritionist, the goal was to design a Gut Health Dietitian website that immediately feels approachable, trustworthy, and easy to navigate. Kerry’s practice supports clients managing digestive issues, helping them regain confidence, energy, and enjoyment in their daily lives. The site needed to communicate her expertise and compassionate approach while making it simple for visitors to book appointments or get in touch—without feeling clinical or overwhelming.
We took a collaborative approach, guiding Kerry through decisions on layout, color palette, and messaging so that every element reflected her brand values: authenticity, warmth, and support. With services, insurance information, and client testimonials to feature, the challenge was to organize content in a way that felt intuitive and inviting while ensuring prospective clients could quickly find what they needed.
Visually, the design balances light, airy neutrals with pops of playful color to create a serene yet uplifting experience. Clean typography, thoughtful spacing, and clear navigation help visitors move through the site with ease. Custom touches, like the embedded appointment-request widget and prominent insurance logos, ensure practicality and accessibility for Kerry’s clients.
From start to finish, the process was designed to minimize decision fatigue. Kerry shared her Pinterest inspiration and together we built a homepage draft to lock in the aesthetic—a calm, professional, yet fun vibe that truly felt like “her.” The final site not only reflects Kerry’s expertise and approachable personality but also makes it effortless for clients to take the next step toward gut health and a more vibrant life.
Before working with Jordin, I had a self-made website that was totally bare bones. I really wanted to elevate my website in a way that captured my brand and aesthetic. The problem was I didn’t even know what my aesthetic was lol. I had decision fatigue trying to decide which colors and shades were “me.” Jordin made this part so easy for me. I put a collection of photos on a Pinterest board and she knew from there exactly what I was going for, when I wasn’t even sure what I was going for. From there she put together a rough draft of a homepage to see if the aesthetic was what I had in mind, and it was absolutely perfect. I was so happy and so relieved that she captured it so well.
I initially chose Jordin because I loved the work she had in her portfolio. But other than that, we had a discovery call and I loved her personality. She asked all the right questions and showed genuine interest in my vision. She also didn’t exert any pressure on me to choose her. One thing that is a massive deterrent for me is being salesy and Jordin was not salesy at all. She was genuine and would be happy to help me, but didn’t make me feel pressure to sign a contract and move forward. In fact, I think it took me a few months to circle back to her and sign a contract.
Jordin was serenely communicative and transparent from start to finish. Very organized. To be completely honest, I wasn’t as “on top of things” as I should’ve been because I was so busy, but Jordin would gently check in every few days, send updates, and was patient with me in my delayed responses.
The final product far exceeded my expectations. I am in love with my site. Sometimes i just visit it myself to look at it lol. If you are looking for a genuine, kind, organized, and patient person to build your site and capture your vision, Jordin is your girl!
